On Sunday 19th May, Bexley Rugby Mini and Juniors section celebrated our Annual Award Ceremony. All players received a medal and some individual player awards were also handed out.

The special awards were in recognition of players who have shown the most improvement, and those who have typified the Rugby Core Values.

There were two special awards, the first being The Joe Fernyhough Award for the most improved player across the whole section (see picture below), donated by Joe's Uncle and Aunt in memory of Joe, a Bexley Rugby player, who past away late last year. The second was the Mini/Junior setion presented Kevin Cope an award in reconition for his 50 years at the club, and being instrumental in setting up the childrens section many years ago.

Finally our coaches were recognised for the great work during the year, with Lee being recognised by the whole club through the award of the Pat Carrol Shield.
